Farm visits
This extensive tour includes: the history of Rooibos tea, general information and processing, advantages of Rooibos tea, viewing of Rooibos plantations and a display of loose tea, packed tea and tea seed.
Groups sized between 10 and 50 must please book in advance. The following will be supplied on the day of your visit:
- Rooibos/Ice tea and Muffins (morning/afternoon)
- Light lunch and Rooibos/Ice tea
- Braai lunch and Rooibos/Ice tea

Open air group meals
Ysterfontein farm is known for catering to tour bus and other groups, in both the flower season (Aug to Sept) and off season. Meals (beakfast, lunch or dinner) can be provided to groups of 10 to 50 people. Menus are available on request.
The fields surrounding the house (where all the meals are served) are overflowing with beautiful Namaqualand Daisy’s and other wild flowers. You are more than welcome to walk through these fields to view the flowers. Meals can also be ordered to coincide with a visit to see the production of Rooibos tea.
