Approximately 230km from Cape Town, on the road towards Graafwater and Lambert’s Bay, lies Ysterfontein, a Rooibos tea farm with an almost century-old farmhouse. Ysterfontein guest farm has been part of the tourist industry for the past 20 years.
The farm is well known for its Rooibos tea. Hundreds of visitors from across the world visit the farm annually. Here you are able to see the Rooibos tea production - from the plant to the final product.
Ysterfontein farm is located 12 km from Clanwilliam and 50 km from Lambertsbay. In town there is a Rooibos tea factory, veldskoen factory, botanical garden, museum, restaurants and the well known Clanwilliam dam.
